JASON MCCRIMMON
OWNER and PREMIER HEAD COACH
Jason is a staple in the Detroit hockey community, where he grew up and first started playing the sport. Jason's playing journey began at the NCAA DIII level with Northland College. He then had stops across various American professional leagues before heading to Finland for two seasons. After his playing career, Jason got into coaching with the Motor City Monarchs. This eventually carved the path to becoming an owner of the now Motor City Gamblers.
Jason is a proud winner of the Willie O'Ree Community Hero Award, given out by the NHL for his exemplary work in the Detroit community via his foundation, Detroit Ice Dreams.

Ben Szilagy joined Motor City in 2022 after broadcasting games for the Detroit Fighting Irish in the 2021-22 season.Szilagy has been in journalism and broadcasting for 15 years. He was a Sports Writer for The Oakland Press, The Ann Arbor Journal, The Macomb Daily, State Champs Sports Network and other renowned publications. He has called over 300 hockey games at various levels in his 10 year broadcasting career, and has called other sports as well. He started his broadcasting career at 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit as a Reporter and Producer.
